 1. Makes you smarter…

Our recently redesigned app just got even smarter with a modern look and updated, intuitive set-up features. We also made it easier to connect and enable Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa skills in-app, by clicking a button under “Settings” then choose your specific app. You’re smarter already.

 

2. Makes you cooler…

Installation is easy breezy with the connected home components built in and the included remote pre-paired; using the SIMPLEconnect functionalities with your smart home systems is just as simple. Note: Your HunterFan.com website account you use to shop with us is different than the SIMPLEconnect app account. Be sure to make an account on the app. You’ll need to confirm your email address from the same device you originally used to create the account. Then you are ready to start spinning and you’re getting cooler by the minute.

 

3. Makes you tech savvy…

If you feel like your SIMPLEconnect remote is “being weird”, follow these steps for a quick fix. First make sure you are on 2.4 GHz network on your mobile phone. Start by turning off the fan using the wall switch for 10 seconds then turn it back on and then wait for 10-15 seconds to allow module to start. If you’re still having issues, remove the handheld remote cover and then press and hold the button on back of the remote until a long beep sounds. (If you hear a short tone sound, then the remote has been unpaired and must now be paired.) Now you’re on your way to becoming a tech expert.

4. Makes you great at networking…

5Ghz may be great for streaming, but when it comes to your SIMPLEconnect fan, you should be connected to a 2.4Ghz network. This network allows for better reach, so that you can check on your bedroom fan from the kitchen. If your phone’s hotspot uses a 2.4Ghz network, then you can use that hotspot to set up your fan! To start this process, make sure your home Wi-Fi is turned off. Set up your hotspot on your phone so that it uses the same name (SSID) and password as your home network. Once your hotspot is on, set up your device normally.

 

Pairing your SIMPLEconnect Wi-Fi ceiling fan with the iOS App is best when connecting to a 2.4Ghz network, download and install the latest SIMPLEconnect app from the App Store. Be sure to verify your email account. Once the app installation is complete, follow the steps here to pair your fan with your iOS App. See the activation process for yourself in this video.
