Fan Favorites: Our Spring 2021 Collection
- Sarah Villane
Spring brings a sense of revitalization and new energy. We’re cleaning out the garage, creating capsule wardrobes, and washing off patio furniture. Another easy weekend project that makes your indoor and outdoor space feel fresh is installing a new ceiling fan.
Our Spring 2021 ceiling fan collection is full of refreshing and inspiring takes on fan design. Our design team played with proportions, explored organic modern forms, and curated calming colors. From elegantly earthy fan finishes to fans with a 72-inch blade span, our design team once again shows how they’re constantly evolving what ceiling fan design can be.
Presto organic modern ceiling fan
While modern design has been about clean, straight lines, our designers are seeing it shift more towards what’s being called organic modern. Rounded edges and a simple form come together in the Presto for a look that’s versatile, dynamic, and pleasing to the eye. The curves and simple design allow the classic finishes to stand out in a striking way. Bold and beautiful.
Favorite spot to place it: Eclectic and playfully modern home offices.
Design inspiration: Organic modern design; a soft modern approach.
Kennicott small, modern ceiling fan
The Kennicott is another example of how simple design can make a big impact. That and its SureSpeed® Guarantee for impactful cooling is what makes it one of our favorites and your favorites. So, for Spring 2021, we added a new finish: Premiere Bronze. This finish’s warm tone has subtle metallic flecks, giving it an earthy yet elegant look that’s sure to enhance the look of your outdoor oasis. We love how this finish pairs with other metallics and complements calming colors like dusty blues and soft mint hues.
Favorite spot to place it: Modern farmhouse patios.
Design inspiration: Sleek elements in the electronic industry.
Solaria large, outdoor ceiling fan
Our engineers are as big of fans as our designers are of the Solaria outdoor ceiling fan. It features a new blade material, blade shape, blade size, and our SureSpeed Guarantee – they went through a lot of testing and prototyping to ensure it would last in the intended covered outdoor setting. The result is a modern marvel with a 72-inch blade space that’s the perfect fit for spacious, modern outdoor patios.
Favorite spot to place it: Large outdoor covered patios with modern farmhouse style.
Design inspiration: Airplane turbines; industrial and minimalist influences.
Hardaway small ceiling fan
Designers were inspired by you with this fan. In the last year, so many of our smaller rooms quickly turned into dual-purpose spaces. As you’re organizing the clutter from these rooms this Spring, add a fan like the Hardaway to elevate the room’s style. It has clean lines, classic finishes, and subtle industrial influences that add just the right amount of flair. Plus, it's built with our SureSpeed Guarantee for airflow you can feel. A hardworking space deserves to look and feel good, too.
Favorite spot to place it: Minimalist modern laundry rooms and modern home offices.
Design inspiration: Versatility; modern and farmhouse styles.
Melbourne fan with carved wood blades
Bringing natural, earthy textures from the outdoors to indoor spaces breathes life into otherwise monochromatic, modern spaces. The Melbourne blends a sweeping, modern design and the texture of carved wood blades into a look that’s a work of art. It adds warmth and an essence of livable luxury to your home. It’s available with LED light or without light, depending on the needs of your space.
Favorite spot to place it: Modern and Scandinavian modern living rooms.
Design inspiration: Airplane propellers; the warmth and authenticity of the outdoors.
Marconi retro-inspired ceiling fan
Designers were influenced by the round shapes in 1950s and 1960s electronics and light fixtures when creating the Marconi. From there, the designers created finish combinations to appease both classic and statement-making home decor. The Marconi’s brushed nickel fan and greyed oak blades create a tonal look that has mass appeal. For a bolder look, our design team created a Salted Black blade finish to pair with the matte black fan finish. The contrast of the lighter wood grain detailing against the dark blade adds just the right amount of “pop” and intrigue.
Favorite spot to place it: Modern or casual traditional inspired living rooms and home offices.
Design inspiration: Round forms in mid-century technology and lighting.
