In order to maximize the airflow of your ceiling fan you want to choose a fan that maximizes the distance between the ceiling and the blade while maintaining the safety requirement that the lowest part of the fan blade must be at least 7’ from the ground. Hunter offers a full range of fans that will help maximize airflow while maintaining the 7’ safety requirement. We offer low-profile fans for lower ceilings but our downrod fans offer the best airflow and can be installed on ceilings 8’ and higher.
