Matter Controls Temporarily Unavailable in the HunterSMART™ Android App
Last Updated: August 2026
Overview
We are aware of an issue affecting Matter device visibility and control for some users within the HunterSMART™ Android app.
At this time, some Android users may not be able to view, manage, or control Matter-enabled devices directly through HunterSMART™, even though those devices have been successfully added to their Google Matter-compatible smart home platform.
Our teams are actively working with our technology partners to restore full Matter functionality in the HunterSMART™ Android app. We appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution.
What Is Impacted?

This issue only affects the Matter experience within the Android version of HunterSMART™. Other app functionality remains available.
