Industrial Tech Support Analyst

Assist and support the Service Manager with all administrative duties of the service and install department.  Field all level 1 technical support/warranty calls while collecting and recording all data from such calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist in oversight and coordination of warranty labor through Factory Authorized Installers.
    • Track and share warranty metrics with all internal teams (engineering, production, sales and senior management)
    • Fields inquiries (phone and electronic) for trouble shooting performance issues with our product offering.
    • Answers phone calls from the field (general inquiries and technical questions)
    • Provide technical support to Inside & Outside sales associates relative to installation and performance inquiries.
    • Provide point of contact for all potential warranty calls, coordinating with other departments as needed.
    • Support in the development of procedures, processes and documents as related to warranty, return of goods.
    • Provide alternatives/options, as needed for installation applications that vary from the norm.
    • Track all warranty issues via CRM (SalesForce.com) program and assign required case numbers.

Education/Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of data collection and analysis.
    • Minimum 1 year of technical support experience.

Special qualifications or skills

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary with an ability to quickly develop relationships with all levels of customers.
    • Strong administrative skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are also required.
    • At least a basic understanding of electronics and electrical knowledge.
    • Able to read schematics, blueprints, and parts drawings.
    • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce.
    • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
