Air Purifier Replacement Filter In-Pack

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

The Hunter model 30300 air purifier was voluntarily recalled by Hunter in early 1996 due to a potential safety hazard. Only the model 30300 was involved.

Replacement parts have been sent to most owners to correct the issue, but in order to ensure your safety, please take the following steps to verify that you have a corrected unit.

1) Check the label on the back of the air purifier. If the model number is listed as 30300-A, you have a new air purifier that is not part of the recall.

2) Please remove the front grill of your air purifier. Mounted on the inside of the grill is a metal precipitator. Recalled units have a black plastic frame surrounding the precipitator. Corrected units have a white frame. Please verify that your unit has a white frame.

3) Please look at the bottom of the inside of the front grill. Corrected units have the letters ìVOî molded into the plastic. If you have a grill with the letters ìVOî molded into the plastic, then you have a new corrected grill.

4) If you have a unit that does not match the above descriptions or if you have any doubt that you have a new grill:

• STOP USING YOUR AIR PURIFIER IMMEDIATELY*
• TURN OFF AND UNPLUG YOUR AIR PURIFIER*
• CALL THE HUNTER AIR PURIFIER HOT-LINE AT 1-866-326-2003 TO ARRANGE SHIPMENT OF A REPLACEMENT GRILL.
