I live in North Carolina, and it gets hot in the summer. This stylish, quality fan makes a wonderful breeze in my office...thus helping save on energy costs. I've been very, very pleased with its look, feel, noise level (quite low), and air movement. Plus it reminds me of the ancient Hunter fans my parents used when I was little (and, for that matter, still use because they refuse to die). The color is more akin to a brushed nickel than it looks online.
