Large Room

Beauty, innovation, comfort, and energy savings all come together stylishly in the Four Seasons™ Heater Fan giving you the best of both worlds – enhancing your home’s décor while increasing its energy efficiency! The Westover is unique among ceiling fans in that it features a 700-watt Illumi-Heat Lighting Fixture and PTC ceramic heating element that can keep your home feeling cozy during colder months. The aerodynamic design directs heat downward, and the fan offers three-speed downdraft and updraft options. Also, the blades help circulate heat evenly throughout a room, helping to prevent cold spots and to lengthen the time between each heat cycle. Designed with homeowners in mind, this fan features Hunter`s patented EZ Hang Mounting System, which makes installation simple and safe. And the Westover installs just like a standard ceiling fan with no dedicated circuit required.

    Not a Lifetime Warranty

The fan worked great until a year later and it simply stopped. Called Hunter to have it replaced but the "Lifetime Warranty" did not seem to cover the sensor problem that it was experiencing. I needed to purchase a whole new unit for a very weak discount. Go with another brand...

We have just installed the Westover Heater Fan, and I love the fan/heater part. However, the light leaves something to be desired! The glass is colored amber, which makes it much dimmer than I would like it to be. I am going to have to put a desk lamp on my computer desk just to see what I'm doing! The light does have a dimmer function, but I don't like the way it works. I keep waiting for it to get brighter and as soon as it does, it starts to dim before I realize that that's as bright as it will get, (with the colored glass) and I have to do it all over again. I have been searching the web site here to see if there's another globe I can get to replace this amber one with, but no luck! Other than the light, I like

while heater is on you cannot hear a TV because the heater is loud while blowing. in order to feel the heat you will have to stand directly under the fan. in the summertime the blades coos the room really well. after 9 months of having this fan everything went out. maybe the motor or some sensors. hunter fan company said they will replace fan.

I was looking for something to warm my tv room in the winter so I thought this would be a good choice. I was wrong. It gives out very little heat, in fact the space heater I was using gives out more. The heater in the ceiling fan is loud and distracting. For the amount of money that this cost me I could have bought 5 space heaters and heated 5 rooms and that is not counting the labor that it cost me to install it. The remote control is about the only positive thing. The salesman at Menards that I worked with told me this was a good fan, it is but as a heater, just buy a brand name space heater and save yourself a couple of hundred bucks.
