NIce fan - but no way can you install it in 5 minutes

The fan looks great, but the whole Five Minute Fan thing is a total marketing gimmick! The fans I bought at Lowe's were much easier to install than this one.

ok Fan - POOR Customer Support

Purchased several Hunter fans for a new house. After only a couple months my son broke one of the glass lobes; after trying HomeDepot, Lowes and others I couldn't find a replacement that would fit the fan. Ended up calling the Customer support to order one and affter 30 minutes of waiting for a representative to answer I finally got sick of it and hung up! This was on a Tuesday at 10:30am - how many people could be calling at this time? Will stay away from!

    What happened to Hunter quality?

Having always purchased hunter Fans, I was disappointed with this model. 1) The way the blades mount is cheap and grommets will require replacement in time since it relies on rubber to hold fans in place rather than fastening hardware (screws). 2) There is no screen on the top fan vent holes so expect debris (dust) to easily enter the fan motor area and accumulate along with any hardware you accidently drop near them during installation. 3) The fan is only a 5 minute insulation if you don't open the Installation guide and have installed this fan many times. The guide is not the best organized or straight forward in determining which hardware to use or what the black and Black/white wire operate in

Fan and light takes longer than five minutes to install. Installed 4 of these and all had to be balanced. Wind noise too high when it is on hig.h
