This fan is quiet and very well balanced. I love it and am amazed how much of a better product is is compared to that other brand that Home Depot sell. Money well spent. I will replace thoses HB with Hunters! Don't listen to that other reviewer, I'm guessing he had trouble opening the box too.

    Poor product and service

Purchased this product from Home Depot and found that it would not work with normal two wire wiring (black, white and bare for ground) and a three way switch. Purchased a remote receiver (#27208) in order to convert it and it still did not work. When attempting to get support and asking how it interacts with a wall switch I was told to contact and electrician after 2 minutes. This fan is not compatibile with most existing or new house standard wiring. My advice would be to buy a model that is compatabile or hire an electrician to wire that section. Contacting Hunter is a waste of time.

    Awesome fan!

This is a very nice fan, very quiet, made my old hamilton beach seem like a noise monster! I like the CFL bulbs saving me money. Went to Home Depot, looked around, saw this one and knew it was the one for me, I prefer the darker wood color since it matches my furniture.
