This fan has an okay look, but it's very much one of the cheaper Hunter lines. The pull cords feel rough and require more force than I expect from Hunter. And, as noted by the other reviewer below, the light is not bright at all. If you don't need much overhead light, it's fine. But, it can't be the only source of light for a room.
Owned this fan for about a year. Because of the color of the shade, it does not brighten the room as much as other fans. Also uses candelabra bulbs, which doesn't help either. Second the fan control seems to have been thought out badly. Rather than the switch coming out at a downward angle, it comes out sideways from the main fan body then down through the glass shade. This leads to a lot of friction on the retaining guide/nut. I have had to loosen the nut and move/rotate it to a new position just so I can use the fan control, otherwise it it catches on worn metal.
