I have the 1886 Limited Edition installed in my modest home theater room and it blends beautifully in with existing decor. There is only a 12 foot ceiling yet it hangs down out of the way of the projector.
It is DEAD quiet on low speed and moves air at low speed just perfectly for a theater. At higher speeds, which I rarely use, there is the sound only of the air moving at higher speeds. This is an elegant, and beautiful work of art that will enhance ambiance of any room on the order of 20x20 or more.
I hope Hunter will NEVER discontinue the 1886 Limited Edition as it should be their flagship.
This fan comes with a light kit adapter; however, after speaking with a Hunter sales representative and numerous vendors, I discovered that the matching light kit either does not exist or has been discontinued. Had I known this was the case, I would never have purchased this fan.
