    Im using and installed your ashbury 81001 bath fan...I installed the unit last year and now am painting the room. upon a closer look at the fan when putting the fan back up Im noticeing that the fan has no place to pull room air into the unit in order to exhaust it....that I can see. the beauti ring has no holes to suck air into the fan...please expain... ??!!

    Not what I expected

    I'm taking my fan back today. The dome hangs down below the rim, and I can see up under the dome. I can see the housing unit that is drywalled into my wall. The dome shape suggests it needs to fit firmly up against the ring, but then there is no place for air to get sucked up into the fan. The rim has no air vents. So i'm guessing this is how it was designed, but the dome looks funny hanging down lower than the rim. I'm very unhappy with the product.
