I absolutely despise this filter on Humidifier Model 33201. It shreds and falls apart even when the procedure for cleaning them is followed to the "T". I would suggest finding a different unit without the PermaWick Filter.
The one drawback with permawick is that it shreads & small pieces drop off into the bottom water holder and you have to be careful not to let them go down the drain.
