Since having this remote the fan and light turn on and off at random no matter how much you change the receiver frequency. Most nights we are awoken to the fan at high speed or the light going on. Last night the light came on 3 times! Have read the consumer reports and this is a very common problem. VERY unimpressed for an $80 remote!
