All-Fan/Light Dual Slide Preset Control

Provides four fan speeds and full-range light dimming.  Preset feature controls fan/light operation at desired settings. Installs in standard three-wire, single box wall switch. Fan 1.6 amps; light 300 watts. Rocker switchplate not included. One year warranty.

    Device 27183 works as designed. Easy installation. My fan buzzes loudly now with the variable speed selector...the old familiar 60 hz. The light intensity varies with the selection of the fan speed as if not enough current to run both through the switch. I really wanted to keep this configuration too..

    Not Good

    I'm an Electrician and installed four of these yesterday for a customer. One of them didn't work on 'high', another one had the little knob fall off, and another wouldn't slide all the way to 'high'. The customer bought these controls on my recommendation of Hunter, and now I look like an idiot because these controls are junk. Very disappointed in Hunter. They have a good reputation in the industry, but I fear they are starting to cut too many corners to make money.

    Great Switch

    I installed this switch Monday on a new ceiling fan I put up. It is great, enjoy all the controls in a single gang style. Hunter needs to do 2 things to make this perfect, 1 move the ground wire location to the side of the switch, it interferes with the switch flushing up against the box itself, I had to carve some plastic off the box to make it flush and not cause my faceplate to stick out. 2 Make it in Ivory, other than that, it's a great product.
