    Not the same as the original

    You'll find that this replacement "Universal" prefilter is considerably thinner and less dense than the original which came with the 30507 Permalife purifier. I would recommend cleaning the original (a garden hose works fine) and continuing to use it.

    Must cut to size...

    Be aware that you must cut these filters down to fit your model. This came as a surprise to me since it wasn't in the description here on this site. Pretty easy to do and if you have a smaller air filter, you may end up with twice as many prefilters as you ordered (after cutting them down).

    Don't order. They don't come in Hunter packaging so you don't know what you're getting. Also, it doesn't fit the machince. It needs to be cut. For the cost of the pre-filter it should fit.

    Essential Piece to the Puzzle!| This is great to have with the HEPA filter and your machine. Essential! We run it under water to wash away the debris it collects once every few months. Let it dry and then it goes back into the machine to a renewed life of use. The replacements are fairly inexpensive, though you have to cut the filter to size your machine. So be sure to keep your old one as a cutting guide. Not sure where to recycle after we are done with it yet.
