ECommerce Account Manager (NASHVILLE)

This position will be responsible for leading the development of current ecommerce customers while executing channel strategies to drive revenue. Reports directly to the National Accounts Sales Manager of Ecommerce.

Description

  • Ecommerce account management - Site merchandising, promotional planning, data enhancement, relationship building, forecasting, etc.

  • Define and execute strategic plans for ecommerce accounts

  • Owns the path to purchase while executing all relevant activities and responsibilities

  • Content data management and uploading across responsible accounts

  • Customer Portal Management – data updates, inventory, ticket resolution

  • Analytics – Collect and analyze data from internal systems and customer portals

  • Reach predetermined sales goals for designated accounts

  • Collaborate with peers to share customer best practices and drive customer related initiatives

  • Able to think outside of the box, and an end to end understanding of the ecommerce channel

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and continuously raise the bar

  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies

Experience

BA in marketing, business administration, or related field.  1 to 3 years sales and / or marketing experience in similar channel.  Prior experience in ecommerce is essential.  Experience with Amazon and / or National Retailers a plus.

Requirements

  • Extremely detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary

  • The incumbent should possess an aggressive approach to all stages of follow-up with customers

  • Strong administrative skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and various vendor portal systems

  • Interest and excitement in the opportunities of the internet sales channel.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Ability to work within a set expense budget

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of electricity
