Unfortunately this fan has never worked. After numerous calls to customer support and replacement of two receivers it still wouldn't go on. I gave up and returned it to the store. 8 hours of time I will never get back. Disappointing.

Not pleased with the Highbury Fan I purchased. After having this fan for 4 years the motor spins at low speed on high. I contacted Hunter about the issue but it seems like they read off a trouble tree guide to try and resolve your issue. The last e-mail I sent to them was an educated guess at what I think the issue may be. Hunter responds that the part I need is not available yet and it will cost me $25 plus shipping. Wow! seems I just should start replacing parts until the issue corrects itself based on my perception of what Hunter thinks. Of course this has not even been looked at or touched by a authorized repair facility, everything is just speculation. Here is my perception Hunter will not honor their warranty so don't buy there products, Hunter reps have really no technical knowledge ( they read off a troubleshooting guide) Hunter will then suggest to purchase parts based on what you have told them. So what should I do? If I open the fan up and test things it will void the warranty (Nope can't do that) maybe I should write a review on the BBB site and other social media sites about my experience, this should help others that have not had their issues resolved. Even if I complain to the BBB, Hunter's rep will not be tarnished as the BBB protects the vendor more than the consumer. So what to do? Don't buy Hunter products.
